Ongoing dialogue

Posted: November 4, 2009 in Uncategorized

There is a phone conversation scheduled for today.  Please be in prayer.

There are a number of voices chiminig in.  Check www.sojo.net.  My open letter has been reposted and sojo will be running blog reposts from Eugene Cho and Ed Gilbreath.

Also, I was told that Zondervan is asking that all complaints be directed to: http://www.zondervan.com/Cultures/en-US/Company/FAQ.htm?QueryStringSite=Zondervan  I think it is appropriate to continue to let Zondervan know about our concerns.

  1. Josh Deng says:

May God ordain the conversation. Please be gracious on our behalf! This is a great chance to expose folks to cultural awareness, the big world that they live in, and the very big God that we have in common.

I’m not sure what you can do to make Zondervan and the authors retract their already published content, but I think that if their hearts will be softened to how they have offended, then God will have the victory.

  2. Matt LeClair says:

It is good that they are willing to talk about the issue between you and they.

I am disappointed that you continue to publicize your own personal feeling of offense. This is an un-Biblical way to handle an issue.

  3. Nicole Poirier says:

I’m glad to hear there is more of a response now. Prayers for fruitfulness. 🙂

  4. Justin Fung says:

Definitely will be praying. Looking forward to good news.

  5. Jim says:

Professor Rah…Just wanted to let you know that Mike and Jud issued this statement this afternoon
